fuel tank swap- questions
i have a 1994 toyota pickup 22re 2wd xtra cab. it has a 14 gallon gas tank. my brother's (250000_yota) old truck is a 1990 toyota pickup 4x4 reg cab short bed 3.0 v6 with a 17 gallon gas tank, now from what i can figure the gas tank itself will fit in the truck, but what i want to know is if my 22re fuel pump and fuel level sensor will fit in the bigger tank or if i need to use the v6 truck stuff

V6 and RE pumps are different. I do know the RTE is the higher 150 PSI V6 pump.
And as far as I know the tanks do not swap... Maybe unless you're going FROM the larger Ex-cab TO the shorter, lower capacity reg-cab tank?
