fuel pump question

So.....

Fuel pump is fine.. I wish people would diagnose things properly before they act like they're 100% sure of the problem. The guy selling me the truck said 'his mechanic' said the fuel pump was dead because he didn't hear it prime when he turned the key on... Jumped the test jumper and the pump whirred on just fine and heard fuel rushing through.

Next step? Check for spark......No spark at the coil..

WHy cant a GUY JUST MAKE A SMALL HATCH ON HINGE in the box so you can get at the fuel pump when needed like on the trail?
Better yet y cant a guy add a second aux feul pump in the fuel line?

You could do that, and it has been done by some here, but most people don`t want to cut there beds, and i can understand that if you have a mint truck. But if it was a trail rig it would be worth doing.
