Fuel pump not getting power
#22
Just pull one plug wire at a time to figure out which cylinder is not firing. Check for spark and compression at that cylinder. If that is fine just try tapping the injector of the non firing cylinder with a screwdriver handle while its running. I ran into this on an engine that sat for a long time and the injector had stuck. I was all set to install another injector and a friend told me to try this first... a few taps and she was back on four.

Checked plug wires, all getting spark. Pulled all plugs (brand new plugs) they were all fouled so it's definitely running on all 4. Adjusted valves and it seems better. Just seems like engine has an excessive shake too it. It's my first 22re so maybe I'm just over thinking it, but something just doesn't seem right to me.

She just fired up for about 30 seconds before cutting out.
Like said above.. check fuel pressure..... sounds like its not getting fuel... Been sitting for 15 years? Take off the tank and clean it out real good.. fresh fuel filter and fresh gas.

Pulled it apart today to check injectors.. Apparently when I installed wirring harness to injector #3 it pushed the wire deep inside connector causing injector not to fire... You've got to be kidding me right lol. Runs like a champ now. Thanks for everyone's help!!!
