Trying to plumb the fuel to my ls1, using 3/8's nylon fuel line. The piece coming out of rhte fuel tank has a flared fitting that goes inside a female fitting on a rubber line for about 6 inches then to another fitting. What size fitting is this? I need something to go from this to a 3/8 nylon barb. So frustrating!

 

Why would you be using "3/8" fuel line on a motor vehicle? When was the last time SAE-dimensioned parts were used on any motor vehicle (including US-built)? 1970?

I'm not sure what an ls1 is, but I'm sure it doesn't use 3/8" fuel line. Why don't you just get regular 10mm steel line (and borrow the bender for free) and save yourself a lot of work.

 

You don't know what an LS1 is??? Do you live under a rock? 3/8 nylon fuel line is incredibly common here... You seem to be talking out of your rear.

I'm asking for the size of the fitting on the fuel pump assembly. Not for your apparent lack of knowledge.

Reminds me of Harrison Ford's "Get off my plane" in Air Force One. I too will be needed to know the fuel pump thread pitch. I plan on pulling my bed in the next couple of days to install my walbro 255. If you find it before then would you please post it up, If not I will try and figure it out when I get to that point also.

 

It's apparently an easy to find size. If you live in Japan. This week I'm going to Midwest Hose, if they can't figure it out, then I'll probably be having to reflare it.

I ran into fuel starvation on my last LS swap so I was worried about the stock 5/16 toyota line giving me problems down the road. I ended up going way overboard but am happy how mine ended up in the end.

 

Jesus! lol. I'm hoping i just being smaller for about a foot it won't cause too much back pressure till it gets to the full sized line.
