Smile fuel injecters

Ha all, im in the proses of putting my motor back together and i was wondering does the injecter wires have to back to the same injecters they came off of.....THANKS
ps, 87toy 4x4 22r or 22re 5 speed...

The injector wires do need to go back to the same CYLINDER. If you swap injectors to different cylinders that's probably okay.

wires the same, injectors doesn't matter.

Didn't the efi in that time frame still use batch fire instead of sequential? If so, it wouldn't really matter as they would all be firing at the same time anyway.
Otherwise, I would think that simply the way the harness is built it would be somewhat difficult to get it wrong anyway.
