fuel gauge incorrect when idle
I'm getting pics right now, but it may be a few hours before I update the "after" pic.
Anyway, when I drive from point A to point B, my fuel gauge works fine and it goes down accordingly. I can sit idle in a parking space and see my gauge read a certain amount of gas in the tank.
Fast forward to my next start-up and drive session. The gauge now reads about a gallon or two less than it did when I parked it.
I can sit idle for 10-15 minutes and the gauge will just sit there, but as soon as it idles for a while and everything is shut off, I'll turn it back on and it reads noticeably lower than what I had when I turned off the engine.
As I said, im getting pics (I have the "before" where it is when I parked the car. getting the "after" next time I start up the truck"
Is there something wrong, or is this the way 22re trucks are?
