Front Wipers not working

Front Wipers bipass steering column stalk switch!
1994 4Runner. Front wipers not working. It is the switch/relay on the steering column. Problem... $340 for the part. Does someone know how to bipass this to a simple toggle that will turn the wipers on/off at their reg speed. just the colour of the wires I have to splice?
It's a 6 cyl with cruise, and variable speed intermittent wipers.
