The two front power windows will not work. The rear windows work but only using the switch on the back door itself. The main switch on the drivers side door will not work the back windows. Everything else works fine. Before the windows stopped working, they were intermittent. I tried a used master switch from eBay and that didn't fix the problem. This is a 99 4runner

 

Time to break out the Meter after years the wires coming out of the drivers door tend to break

I test the drivers side motor first.

find why that one does not work then onto the right side

The Master switch needs to be connected at all times for the right front and two rear windows to work

I have worked on some older 4Runners that would only have the windows work with the engine running or a battery charger hooked up
