Front main crank seal

i just i have put over 5 front main seals in this truck within the year.
what is causing the seal to go?
its a 3.slow 5speed

45 min to an hour what takes longer is the antifreeze

? Are some aftermarket oil seals, or OEM, offset such as to contact a diff part of the shaft surface. Mine has dripped here n there forever, no biggy .

all oem they are cheaper then the aftermarket. any one has the pic of the sleave u guys are talkin about

You've probably figured this out by now but the 3.0 front crank seal actually rides on the crankshaft itself and not the balancer. You have to pull the timing belt to get to the seal so it's a little bigger job than 45 minutes, for me at least.
