Okay i think i got a good deal!

The guy said this was off an 86 or 87 toyota pickup.

I paid $20 and that includes basicallly the whole ifs setup.

So far i only brought home the diff, from cv to cv. I will definitly pick up the idler arm, tie rod ends, among other stuff. At least that way i have some spare parts for the trail

Okay i only really wanted this to get the tube to entirely remove my A.D.D system.

But since the gears look to be in good shape, im thinking about selling the third, how much do you think they would go for? I think they are stock 4.10's

I sold my whole ifs assembly for $50. Its not worth all that much. You'll probably get more for those cv's then you will for the diff.

I gave my whole IFS away. So I would say that it is worthless.

Hey guys....take a look at how thick that ring is....that looks like a 529 or even a 571 to me.
What do the numbers stamped on the ring say?
ZUK
EDIT-----I just eyeballed a 529 IFS ring I had....and the above pic does not appear quite as thick so I'm thinking it's a factory 488?

It cannot be a 4.88 if from an 86-87. btw any/all 4.88 gearing setups were ADD, which this is not.

Count the gears, and I bet you'll find 41 on the ring gear, and 10 on the pinion.

Yup, on the ring gear there was a 41 stamped on it. Which means 4.10's right?

Not necessarily. Count the teeth on the pinion gear.

10 teeth on the pinion gear - 4.10 (41/10)
9 teeth on the pinion gear - 4.56 (41/9)
