Exclamation Is the frame hardened steel or just regular steel?

I was installing some 14" coil springs in the rear end of my yoda and i realized that i dont know if the frame is hardened steel or just regular steel... If its hardened steel... weld it up and the frame cracks... or i could be lucky and its just steel welded up... I could also ask a stealership but im lazy lol and so far i haven't seen anything on here answering my question... So who knows?

Plate it first. Then weld it up.

as mentioned not hardend. i wouldnt think that it would be smart to use hardend steel as a frame beings that hardend steel is generaly more brittle and doesnt like to flex.
