ct---I've never quite seen a cooler that BIG.....but the only way to really know if it's cooling EXTRA GOOD is with a temp gauge. If you don't have one then this is the bad boy you should have

Well I don't have a "before" measurement, Anyone have any idea as to the "standard" operating temp for the automatic in a V-6?

So how are you measuring that it's "working great"?

I will after I install my AUTOMETER COBALT Trans Temp Tranny Temp 6157. Then when I have a baseline, I will install the Hayden tranny cooler and compare.

Did you bypass the built-in cooler that is in the engine radiator or are you running it in series?

I can just tell by feel it's working fine. It's definitely dissapating enough heat when towing light loads. Also, the comment of "working great" was directed at earlier posts asking for on and off performance updates and the worry about it being a "new shiny rock detector". lol

Thanks Zuk. If you can get me those temps it will help with numerical analysis a bit. Had to bypass the radiator cooler as it lost a tube and started leaking.
