found disconnected wire

found disconnected wire

i recently replaced my 22re in my 93 4x4 hilux pickup and just found a wire that has no home, atleast one that i can find. it originates in the alternator wire loom, its about 12" long and is white w black stripe with a large round wire end on it? anyone know where it goes? ground? thanks.

hey the wire probaly hooks up on the power steering braket that is the ground for the alt

There are lots of disconnected wires in my 4Runner. I've concluded that they were for accessories I don't have, such as air conditioning.

yeah...theres a bunch of wires and hoses not hooked up on my 20R...and it runs like a dream..doesnt drive (at the moment..its getting a tranny and t-case transplant) but it runs fantastic...i wish i knew what all my wires went to...it sure would be nice
