i found a doug thorley header on craigslist off a 86 22R for 100 bucks, and im wondering, will a 22R header work on my 22RE? i searched but all i came up with were the for sale pages, and people asking how much of a difference will a header make.

hm..im not sure..but i would like to know is the headers are interchangeable on the R series motors???...like...will a 22RE header fit my 20R...i doubt it...like..HIGHLY doubt it...but i havent ever seen a 22RE with a header...or at all for that matter...at least not in person

i mean i know the 22r and the 22re are the same engine, except for the fact that the 22r is carburated and has a lower fuel pressure. but i would think the exhaust is the same, just want to check before i blow 100 bucks
