Just like the title says. I left the sway bar out. I pulled it when I dropped the tranny to do the clutch and set it out of the way on the side of the house. Just noticed it when I went to take out the trash. Hell I can't tell any difference.

I took mine off the other day when doing some work on the truck. I thought I'd leave it off to see how it feels. I honestly can tell no difference so far. The only thing that worries me is that it won't be there when it's actually need it, such as in a higher speed evasive maneuver.

haha, go 60 and slam on the breaks, and turn the wheel to the left or right just a little, you'll notice it's gone

I ran without mine for a few months, and didn't really notice a big difference right away. But after a while I started noticing turns that I use to take at a normal trafficing pace made me feel a little uneasy, so I began to REALLY slow down on the curves (which may be a good thing ). But what made my mind up to put it back on is when some SOB in a Civic pulled out in front of me and I got on the brakes and swerved into the left lane... I sware that left rear tire came off the ground...

At 60mph, slamming on the brakes and swerving isn't going to be a good idea no matter how many sway bars you have on your vehicle. I have no sway bars, front or rear. My truck rides just fine. People tend to overexaggerate the hell out of sway bars and think that if you take them off the vehicle is just going to flip over on it's side and you'll die instantly and if you have them it will cure cancer, end hunger and we will have world peace.

well I'm not saying their going to keep you from flipping over, but me personally, I just noticed more body roll without my front than I did with it, therefore I put it back on

and you aint gotta swerve hard to get the effect, lol, just like half a lane change

btw, what TRUCK do you have that came with a rear sway bar?

Disconnects cost $30 and I can definitely feel the difference on my 2nd gen, especially with 3 extra passengers.

Sway bar has been off for 4 years now. I've had to swerve on the highway many times, I spend hour half on the freeway everyday now. I prefer my rig without it.

Same here. If I need less roll I'll just give the shocks an extra click. It rides like a set of rollerskates on the 5th click.

When I was doing my rebuild, I snapped almost all the bolts off when removing mine. I been driving without it since. The truck rarely gets over 60mph, and I'm overly cautious driving it in the first place. No issues here.
