Fluid Leak under drivers side dash

A fluid leak has been dripping onto my left foot, just left of the clutch in my 88 pick-up. I thought it was clutch fluid, but the reservoir is full. Could this be a power steering issue? I have no idea. Your insights are appreciated.

What's your rig? I'm gonna say no to the power steering fluid possibility, as far as I know none of the models have ps lines anywhere near the firewall.

Smell the fluid, it's probably brake fluid...from the clutch master. If it's only dripping every once in awhile, then the level may have not dropped enough yet to be obvious.

Just replaced the clutch master this past summer. Its actually dripping inside the cab. Basically in the upper corner of the left drivers side interior. To the upper left of my left foot. I'll have to get under there with the flash light. My rig is an 88 Pickup 22R, 4 cyl. 4x4

It could be that clutch MC or brake MC leaking through the booster. My clutch MC was leaking just where you described it. It should be moist if you get under the dash and take a look.

Is the fluid colored? Oily?

I had water coming from the passenger side area. I knew it was either water or coolant. I finally found a rusted spot just behind the window where it was poorly sealed. The seal was eaten away and the metal body was rusted, so water leaked in and dripped down the firewall and onto the passenger's legs/feet.
