Floor Mat Front

Looking for a good quality set of floor mats in the front seats of my 87 4runner. My carpet is in great shape & somehow the previous owner never drank coffee or ate in the truck. How do I keep my carpet in good shape without mats... I seems impossible. Love to see some pictures or options.

Thanks

thanks for the reply. Floor mats look great. I assume you cut them to fit?

Any other options out there

Unless you are like the previous owner, yes it is impossible

The coin-pattern ^^^ looks good. I think same material that the whole floor of Honda Element is covered with.

yeah, it looks ok. i'm surprised it holds/catches as much water as it does, in that the coins aren't deep. happy with them so far.

they clean easily. dark might show less dirt stain.

I was gifted a set of carpet floor mats from a 2018 4runner - Kinda look nice. The price was right! The holes are a bit goofy but am still working on it.

Thanks for the help. Funny enough these came the day after the post

Those new 4Runner mats look pretty nice and look like they fit fairly well!

Toyota doesn't want any more unintended acceleration incidents so they started putting holes in the floor mats for hooks in the floor to prevent the mat from sliding.

Not sure what color your interior is, but my 88 came with the original floor mats ( I think?) and they look almost identical to the 2nd gen, at least the front mats. Yeah the cloth isn't as good but I think they look nicer.
