trouble is our lights use a different blub for the turn signals
The GM style use one wire for the brake/turn signals and another for the tail light.
You might be able to get on of those trailer converter boxes to run off of 4 wires.
Trying to run 2 wire lights off a 3 wire harness would drive anyone crazy.
1987 the tail light wire is green brake lights are green/white
leftturn is green/blue right turn is green/ yellow
back up lights are red/blue
Grounds are White/black
I don`t know if that will help

Your going to need a trailer light converter if you plan on running only 2 red lights in the back. Toyotas are a 4 light system. Separate brake light then the turn light. No way around it.

fixed it, no box needed. stop/tail in red, and orange turn signals with their own. the passenger side stock tail light was wired a lil different. so i plug it back in connected the wires and after tracing and viola.
