fix a fuel gauge?

Years back I bought a "fix a gauge" (which was a part installed on the back of the gauge to fix it) for my 85' chevy. Cant seem to find one these days
Now with my 87 toyota pick up the gauge reads full when i fill up and misreads the tank of gas as i drive.

Is there a product to fix this? or how do i go about fixing it?

thanks
