first gen 4runner passenger seat

Been looking around for an answer but cant find one. Im looking for a way for the passenger seat to be able to slide back all the way/more like the drivers seat due to people always saying its cramped lol. These are the stock seats still

Driver and passenger seat have different mounting points and it doesn't go back as far so the rear passengers can access the door panel and get out the passenger side easier.

I kind of figured that had something to do with it.

Can you get a driver seat track and put on the pass side? No idea if the holes will line up or if there even the same height. just a thought.

Driver and passenger tracks have different mounting points in the body. Whatever you do will require some fab work I imagine...or just swap to some other style seats.

I think it'd be easier to just swap in some other seats. I put a set out of a 93 or 94 4runner and they bolted right in for 7 of the 8 mounting points. Had to drill one hole in the passenger side for one of the rear mounts.

one of my seats do need to be replaced so may just swap seats from a 2nd gen runner or pickup. did it give the passenger more room on that side?

Yes indeed. The passenger side goes back as far as the drivers side. I would have preferred to swap out seat bases on mine to maintain the "cool" factor with that little pedal behind the seat but I didn't think that far ahead.

If you're really planning on swapping seats take your time and find a set of SR5 seats. The drivers side has several adjustments that make the ride really nice.
