Is it fine for steering stabilizer to wiggle on one end?

Is it fine for steering stabilizer to wiggle on one end?

The steering stabilizer is fine on the frame side but the other side is real loose where it bolts. I can wiggle it a lot.

In the stabilizer itself??

Between the stud and the hole.

You did tighten things??

The play is in the bolt that goes to the drivers side of the stabilizer not the side that attaches to the frame. The bolt is tightened to spec. I can grab the stabilizer and twist it back and forth.

The end of the stabilizer is like a "ball joint," so it can be moved.

But not with just your hand. It should be much more rigid than that. I'd just replace it.
