Finally installed ball joint spacers and coil spacers

Did the Coil Spacers first.

My dad insisted that he did the cutting himself, stealing all teh fun.




Now she needs new shoes and skids. Then she'll be up and running in full.

I know! I haven't got a pic of it on all fours yet, but the 31's I'm running are pretty worn down and they looked small before the lift, they look dinky now.

looks like a good project too; he restoring it, or is it something you guys are gunna beef-up to hit some trails? or just cruise in as-is, cause that's still sweet!

It's a trail rig right now (even with the disconnected shocks and flat leafs hahaha) and were just getting it totally running right now, we haven't decided if were gonna keep it past that or sell it for cash for a 3rd gen 4R. I want one so bad so we can make mine the real trailRunner it wants to be lol.

i like how u didnt use a rope or chain to tie around the coil for safe measures if the compressors slips or fails. happened to me once already but luckly i had tied it up with rope.

haha but your dad had glasses on so that is protection hah. i usually never use safety glasses either when i cut, i just squint. those coils can jump right up and smoke you in the face but i was commpressing coils for a for size truck tho and those things are pretty hard to compress with a weak smaller spring compressor .

Probably, it's a late enough model and they didn't change much south of the body. They're an extra 2" of travel, but they make a 4" ext. set too, so you'll most likely be in good shape. They weren't too pricey either.

k wierd, so im on the procomp website. And it shows the toyota trucks and whatnot
For the options we get for the first gen trucks are only 0-1inch lift
but, the 4wd trucks, same year, have 1-2 and 2-3
what gives? should i just buy the truck shocks since they are the same trucks pretty much

Yeah, you might want to check more about the differences, they might not be the exact same. It's probably the mounting setup, pin on the tops and rings on the bottom, yours might have dual ring mounts but I'm not positive.
