looks like you have the flashlight pointed down by where the injectors are, they are a square connector with 2 prongs inside. there is one for each cyl. also your cold start injector is unplugged don't know if you did that as part of your diagnostics but if you have cold start issues might wanna plug that back in.

i BELIEVE i fixed it. i found a bare wire on cylinder 3. covered it in electrical tape, and its running fine. so far. and with regards to the cold start injector... if i plug it in it starts beautifully whether its 80 out or 40 out. but it doesnt seem to shut off... the engine starts to flood. so im thinking the timing switch is messed up. not too worried about it right now... thanks every1 for the help will keep you posted on how it runs

like I learned in another thread, the cold start time switch should only run when the engine is cranking, consequently, so should the cold start injector only run when cranking.
so...

so maybe there's another issue in the wiring like the one you found with the temp sensor / injector wire?

jesus christ, its one thing after another. i drove it up to poway to take my tools to my shop, and on the way back it started howling. i was like.. wtf... so i pushed in the clutch. it went away. i let it out. started howling again. also it started grinding in every gear except 4th and 5th. and now 4th gear pops out randomly. im praying thats due to the clutch, since i cant afford a new tranny. and for those who havent guessed it, my clutch is gone. im surprised i got it home. so its now waiting for me to put a clutch in it, and im back daily driving the RMS titanic (aka ford expedition).
so my list of parts to replace with the clutch is as follows... please add if i forget anything
clutch
pressure plate
throwout bearing
pilot bearing
input shaft bearing
rear main seal
front tranny seal
flywheel resurfaced
am i missing anything?
