Finally Cleaned the Truck Today... 56k, Dont Do It!

So, i have owned my truck for over three months now, and i just finally washed it for the first time. Without further ado, here is my truck (you guys never saw it anyways, so now is a good chance to show it to you).

Dirty... (first week i had it)

Almost Clean...

Wholly Chrome! I love it!

Finished Product.

Nice Ass...

Just a pic.

Out and About...

When a Toyota is in the Rye... (o.k. so it isnt actually rye...)

IFS Flex (HAHA)

More Flex

My Tires

On a Side note, My Little Add-A-Clock

And, Finally, The Best Picture (in my opinion) of the day...

I hope you like it! And, BTW, yes, my bed isnt lined up with the cab, i have a bent frame! YEAY! that gets fixed the last week of August. For free! (i love technical colleges)

I am thinking that i need a 5 speed, yes, no? a340h = the way the 3vze earned the name; 3.slow.

Thanks. I like clean vehicles (love them clean!), but finding time is my biggest problem. I took all these pics because it could be a while till i have it that clean again.

When i bought this truck, i bought it because it ran well and had a nice body. It has a reconstructed title, and when i bought it, it had a helluva shimmy in the rear end. (turns out BOTH rear axles were severely bent!) So, i put in a 4 cyclinder rear end, that fixed a lot of it. I had some body work done (the whole rear end was repainted) and i am getting some more done soon.

It appears that ALL my shackle mounts for the rear leafs are bent sideways, so my truck tracks about 2-2 1/2 inches to the left. The rear leafs are actually bent really bad, and the frame rail had to have some surgery. I got ripped off when i bought it, but at least it LOOKS good!

Opinions? What should i do with the rear end shackles and leafs? What about the Chevy Leafs and some new mounts? Just a feeler, ignoring the R Title, how much did i over pay? I paid 3500 plus tax and tags. I consider it in fair to good condition. Body and mechanical is all good, but the frame is a drawback. It had at the time of purchase 180k, A/C, Cruise, and a Sony xplode head unit (not that makes any difference). Sliding rear window (which id rather have a solid one) with good tint on the rear 3, Brand New tires (still had the nipples on them, and the paint). everything worked, it looked so so, the interior is good, came with SR5 split bench, no gashes or scrapes on the plastic. If i could have got it for 3000, i would have no problem sleeping at night, but the fact that the dealer i got it from def. ripped me off pisses me off to no end. I got a problem truck and he knew it, but surely didn't try and warn me.

That is actually bent that bad, its not the light making it appear to be bent...

Left frame rail end (healthy)

Right frame rail end (kinda sorta healthy after some surgery)

I do know for a fact that my frame is bent too. I went to a technical high school last year for my senior year, and the collision repair class measured my frame on their high tech laser thingy bop, its not too bad, but im getting it fixed, so then it will be mint. And, ill have a college certified completely computerized proof that the frame is good if i ever decide to sell it.

It had a lot of little quirks, but after spending about 1500 (USD)in repairs and body work and a new rear end (250), it runs alright, and looks even better.

The timing belt is new, front main seal was just replaced, transmission was flushed, new ball joint on the right, a/c serviced (not charged, just cleaned), and some small other things. I have some parking brake gremlins i got to get fixed before they completely warp my right rear rotor...

Thanks for reading and looking! I never did an introductory, so i figured id just do the nitty gritty right here!

This rig sees the road about 98 percent of the time, but its nice to know that the other 2 percent can be just as rewarding. I know that wasnt "Dirty" dirty, but it was dirty enough to bother me.

Here is what i call kinda dirty, light mudding at best...

Nice truck!! I thought at first that the first pic that poped up was the clean one, but then the rest started to appear. I wish mine looked as good clean as yours does dirty.
