fan clutch ?
Hi I noticed recently that my fan would wobble a bit while running. It spins freely with the motor off. Did a search and seems that means the fan clutch is toast?
Also I have a code 25 on the truck. Could the fan clutch in any way cause this? I did notice the motor temp fluctuate somewhat lately which seemed a little odd (likely related to the fan not working right).

as DeathCougar said, the fan should spin with some resistance. On my '88 and '91 both, if I try to spin the fan by hand it rotates maybe an inch or so and stops. if the fan clutch is too loose, you wont have enough air flow through the radiator and could have a mild overheat condition at low vehicle speeds.
code 25 means the engine has had to compensate for a lean fuel mixture a considerable amount of time. it could mean a failing O2 sensor. could also mean something else wrong such as clogging fuel filter or injectors, malfunctioning air-flow meter, coolant temp sensor or even incorrect ignition timing or vacuum leaks or a mild overheating condition.

I can take my finger and spin the fan 6 revolutions easy. There is little to no resistance. Does this mean my fan clutch done?
I ripped my o2 wiring out 6 months ago and at the advice of a local mechanic didn't bother with it. Now I'm trying to test my hho setup so I want to get the cel off. Replaced the o2 sensor and still got code 25.
I just tested my afm and it tested out of spec on E2-Vs. Read 680-700ohms and is supposed to be 20-400. So I grabbed another afm off another 22re to test. I tested this afm and it seems ok. Hopefully thats all it is, will find out tomorrow.

Get rid of the stupid fan clutch and get an electric fan. I and just about everyone with those damn fan clutchs have a problem with the bearings in them going bad at some point cause of dirt or just wear. The dealer wants $700 or so for it cause toyota doesnt sell just the clutch of course. Ebay sell them but still I think the electric fans are the way to go. aseptically if you wheel it cause you can wire in a switch to turn it off through water crossings which is great and also it cools better not to mention your not going to get that fan wobble also you free up a HP .
If the fan wobbles noticeably at all while the engine is running it needs fixed/ replaced ASAP. New clutch of Electric fan either way you need to change it

I'd say yes, the clutch is bad. I can not get 1/4 of one revolution out of either of my trucks.
Do not get an electric fan unless the fan comes with the proper shroud around the fan to cover the whole radiator and a thermo-electric switch that connects into a water passage on the engine as opposed to some thermo-electric gizmatchio that gets zip tied to the radiator.
I tried an electric fan on my '91 and it worked fine until the air temp went above 85F. Ended up going back to the stock fan clutch and fan because they didn't work.

Fan clutch
If your fan clutch is going bad, replace it as soon as possible. Mine just let go and DESTROYED the ENTIRE fan shroud, air box, battery, and left some WONDERFUL hood deformations on the surface of the hood from underneath. If the mechanic had his head in the engine compartment when it failed, instant decapitation. AGAIN, if that clutch is going bad, RELACE IT as soon as possible!

X2, the wobble might also be the support bearing for the fan and fan clutch, which I believe on the 22re is the water pump itself. I know on the V6s the bearing fails sometimes. And as noted by someone earlier the collateral damage from a fan failure can be nasty.
