fan bracket help

I think that my 95 3.0 needs a new fan bracket. The whole fan and pullys move about 1-2 inches back and forth along with a horrible ratcheting sound. It all started, and has gotten progressively worse about 2 months ago after replacing my belts. The runners got 118000miles and gets wheeled pretty often out here in the desert. Is this something a weekend mechanic can replace with ease and time or should I have a shop do it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You should be able to do it. Just start from the radiator and work your way back. You will have to remove the power steering pump bracket. And that timing belt idler pulley tensioner is a booger.
