no-one puts headers straight through the hood any longer

as long as they bend a little so rain doesn't go down the pipes. 3 on each side (for the 3.0's) would be awesome.

even 4 tubes straight out the front fender would make your truck look pissed off, and feared on all roads

Yeah, whatever you do, If you have your spare tire mounted underneath your car, just make sure it's on there when they mount the exhaust. I learned that the hard way. Mine wasn't under there when I had my exhaust installed, and when I put my spare tire back on, and drove it home, I kept smelling a horrible smell. I though it was the clutch because I had just got a new one installed. When I got home (120 miles later) Smoke was coming from under my 4Runner pretty bad. Then I heard a loud POP!!! and that's when the exhaust melted through the spare tire. Ooops.

i cut the flange right after the cat and clamped on a 90 degree turn and i have it go straight out the side behind the driver door and in front on the wheel. cost me 25 bucks and sounds nice. no muffler. nice and throaty outside and i can barely hear it from the inside unless i roll down the window

can barely see it from this pic...but you get the idea
