I made a firm commitment not to drink for a WHOLE day. Problem now is that I cant sleep. How's one supposed to know when one day ends and another begins without going to the corner store and having them tell you it's past midnight, you can't buy no more beer tonight...?

 

Did you mean not drink for a whole "continuous" day or for 24 hours scattered throughout the month?
besides, if sun's not up it's not day.
