Exhaust for the 3.slow?

getting a new muffler for my 94' and wanted to see what you guys would recommend. i'm not looking to do an entire catback just the muffler. i've got a friend who can weld it on and i'm sure i'd have to add another .5 foot or so of pipe.

TIA

Well, I got a bitchin deal on my Flowmaster on my 94 4Runner with the 3.0, and it's 2.5" header back full custom, and I love it. I paid about $150 for it......installed. I'd say go for at least a catback, you will not be dissappointed. there is only so much a new muffler can do for you.

well wonder if muffler magic here in flag would do a 2.5 flow 40 catback for me for $130 or so... did you run the new catback out the same place? (behind driver side rear wheel)

I just installed a Jardine system that I bought off ebay direct from Jardine, I paid $240 shipped. Easy install, aluminized inside and out, 2 1/4", sounds good.

my friend who's got a 2002 taco w/ 1 of his cats punched said he'd recommend a magnaflow w/ just a downpipe.

I'm not sure if that's directed at me, but i've got header back exhaust. And yes, it is routed mostly the same just a couple less bends in it.
