Engnbldr motor coming together!

Haven't posted in awhile, thought I'd give a quick update (if anyone cares)...

Spoke to Todd today, ordered up a Street RV Head with 268C cam, Master Engine Kit with 20 over pistons, 10 over main bearings, and 10 over rod bearings. Injectors are currently being redone, exhaust components in the garage waiting...

I'm hoping the upgraded exhaust along with the oversized valves will get it 'til the 3200 range. Can't wait!

I did the exact same setup as you, minus the exhaust (for now)
Runs like a champ. She topped out at 80 before, now does 80 in 4th gear, havent even topped her out yet.
Got alot more get up than before, Can chirp the tires in through 3rd gear if I really want to.
Overall it went great for me, kit was awesome, good luck.

I've only got about 250 miles on it, yet to check the mileage
Hoping for the best, but because I'm still in the break in period I havent bothered with it
I'll probably check it this tank since I just filled up, but I'll guess for a more accurate reading around 1,000 miles when I know shes broken in good and I dont have to worry about driving...

Man, I'd be THRILLED to get 22-25! I was hoping to crack the 20's. That'd be great!

sounds similar to what I got from them...I got the street rv head with the 261 cam. At this point I gotta keep the stock exhaust (low funds) but thinking about a header in the future. Are you re-using your stock rocker arm assembly?

It's the pre-assembled head, so it'll be whatever Todd/Ted send me.
