Hi guys...well, I'm new to the site but have an important question..(also new to toyotas)
Just picked up a 86 4runner, 3'' lift, 32 inch tires, nice little truck, solid all around...well mostly...On the 3hr drive home after buying it the engine lost oil pressure and now its cooked (22re engine). Want to pop a new engine in, as I do love this sweet and tough little truck...what years/models a are interchangeable? Thanks for your help guys!

just slap another 22r into it, talk to LCE or um.. who else makes engines. enginebldr.com um.... ther'es one other place, i forgot who tho... search on the forums, search is your friend. :-)
