engine hesitates...

Ok...so, when I get up in the morning and start off to work, I have to slow down to go through a dip in the street. I downshift to 2nd gear, let out the clutch after the dip, and the something seems to hesitate and the truck bounces like if I didn't know how to drive a clutch. What the heck is that???

It doesn't do it when it's warmed up.

Edit: It has had a tune up with new plugs, wires, distributor...I replaced the water pump and timing belt, and the dealer fixed the headgasket issue.

It happens when the fuel tank is full and when it's empty. It did it worse before I took it into the dealer to have the headgasket issue fixed. They also replaced the #5 bearing (on the crankshaft?).

Could there be something wrong in the clutch/transmission area? The slave cylinder and master cylinder were replaced a year ago, and ever since then the clutch pedal doesn't come up all the way 100% of the time.

If the bearings are worn out on the crankshaft, would that have something to do with it? Or, would it be more likely a fuel problem?
