engine code 43 (strater signal), what is this?

engine code 43 (strater signal), what is this?
my 91 yota pickups engine light came on and threw a #43 code it says its a starter signal. i have no idea what this is could somebody please fill me in. thank you

Means the engine rpm's went above 800 and ECU did not get the STA (starting) signal from the ignition switch - basically the computer didn't know you were trying to start the engine then suddenly the engine started. Caused by failure of either the ignition switch, wiring or ECU.
