Eliminating Rusty Wheel Wells
Hey,
i've been looking around the site and can't really find a how too on getting rid of the rusty wheel wells. I think i'm going to use POR-15 as it seems to be the best... however the rust is real bad in the wells. i'll try to get some pics up later. has anyone used the fiber stuff that por sells.... or does anyone have a good way to fill the massive holes and get rid of the rust.
thanks in advance

you dont have to weld them in, most shops use panel adhesive and i have even used it a few times. If you have some body work experience you could do it yourself, but if not it would be a good idea to find a good body shop.

To fix the rust with paint, bondo etc, you need to get around the backside of the panel. I tried what you're thinking and was really carefull and the rust has already bubbled back up some 6 months later.
Were you the guy from BC4x4 who bought those Pro Comp shocks off of me?

i saw those replacements, how would i "glue" those on? cut away all the rust, por 15 it, then put them on... could i then use fiberglass or something along those lines to fill where they don't?
matt16, no i wasn't that guy... i wish i had better shocks... maybe once i fix the rust and the cv joints on my blazer i'll look into some of those.
