I'm having problems getting my rear window to continue working. Desired everything and it works fine then it will stop working but nothing has changed. I unplugged and replugged it in and it continued to work but now it has don't it again. Anyone have any idea why it might be doing this?

 

Have you tried weird stuff?
My window won't roll down unless the lights are on. I dont know what the previous owner did when he re-wired it, but he sure introduced some gremlins.

 

Could be a loose connection on the relay inside the panel. Try wiggling the connector to isolate the where the broken connection is. Also check the harness for any cut wires going all the way back to the window.

I was assuming he had an 89 4runner from his username..could be wrong tho.
