If I put the Taco one in the 4 Runner and spin the output shaft it does not turn the cable as it does in the original Taco tranni.

On closer inspection the plastic gears are slightly different diameters and the worm gear that drives them inside the casing too is slightly different size.........The smaller gear is not touching the worm gear of course....

What is the best/easiest way to make my Taco cable drive work in the Runner Tranni. Thanks in advance.....

Read the whole thread. Determine what you have and what you need and source the right part...

As indicated above it could be as simple as unmounting the electrical portion from the mechanical section and attaching your cable.
