I want my EGR gone but there are facts that hard to not take in effect the fact is "EGR is considered a `metered intake leak' and was developed to reduce the combustion temperatures to below 2,500 degrees" which effect could damage you engine.

Eliminate Your Check engine light

If you get a 10 ohm resistor and stick it in the egr temp sensor plug it should eliminate the code. If it doesn't switch to a 5 ohm. THis should also keep the truck from going into any sort of loop.

i deleted my EGR when i rebuilt my motor, and when i started it up, no warm idle..cold idle is just fine, but warm idle is a no go....could this be related to my 3vz having no EGR now?
New to the forum and I just got my first 4runner, 2 gen, was curious on how is the best way to remove the crossover pipe behind the heads and has anyone had issues after removing it and going to headers or other after market exhaust.?
