duelie 4runner?

has anyone seen like a 4runner with a 1ton rear end with duelies because i think that would be AWESOME. i dont even know if its possible but if it is it would be cool, i want to try it really bad lol. does anyone know if its possible or if its been done before?

Yep, its a bolt in mod. Just go to a wrecking yard, get any Dualie rear axle, and bolt it in. No cutting, welding, or mods necessary.

That's a toyota dualie axle... lol You can find them under old uhauls and some motorhomes... You might need to make a few small sheet metal mods to allow for full articulation, and of course a larger fender flare to cover the wheels and make it legal...

Naw, get a full size Dodge ram axle assy, some bigger U-bolts for your leaf springs, and bolt it in.

i don't want to be rude, but that was a great laugh. if you wanna dually a 4runner, do it! the picture i see in my mind doesn't quite make all the sense in the world, but if you see a need for it, do it. what would you be using this vehicle for?

that reminds me of the dually Suburbans from the 80's. If your that desprite to put a dualie under a 2nd gen 4runner just copy the old GM Suburbans.
