Driveshaft question
I have a '93 extra-cab 4x4 w./ 3.0 & 5spd.....I want to swap out my two-piece rear driveshaft for a one piece driveshaft to eliminate the center bearing.
My question is.....is there a driveshaft out there that will bolt right in for me or do I have to get a custom one made?
Anyone who has done this swap.....how did it go and do you like the end results?
Thanks guys!

I don't think I'd do it, but that's just me.
Here's a writeup from 4x4wire:

Hey MTGoat.. I'm curious.. why not? Just because of the loss of clearance? I've got a vibratuion problem, thinking is the center bearing.. I'd consider the one-piece just to have less parts. (I don't need the clearance since i never leave pavement).
Is it easy enough to replace that bearing or do I need a shop to remove & press it?
