drive with no ifs diff

So I've finally got around to getting 4.88 gears and want to install my gears into the front diff, Is the truck still drivable with the front diff removed while I install the gears?

Tie the CVs up and make sure hubs are unlocked.

That's what I did.

I didn't, plus keeps stuff out of inside hub. Won't go for a cross country trip.

I had mine out for atleast a couple months it doesnt affect it, i had cvs out and everything
