Sounding "bad" is most likely just personal opinion and probably has more to do with the muffler and exhaust routing than the headers.

That said, I ran Downey headers on my 3.0 (and now on my 3.4) and had no issues with noise. I had a turbo muffler from Summit, and now run a Magnaflow. The Magnflow is louder, sounds more aggressive but has a mellower tone.

I think the CherryBomb is going to be very loud behind the headers. Whether that's good or bad... you (and your neighbors) will have to decide that one.

It would be twice as loud.

Actually, you have to get both headers routed back together before the O2 sensor otherwise the engine won't work very well. There have been some who have done a sort of crossover for dual exit pipes, but I think reducing down to one is going to be your best bet for performance.

Don't waste your money. On a NA motor, exhaust, intake and all that don't do anything. I have it all, and have regretted every part of it.

Well, headers will fix exactly NONE of those issues. If you get ceramic coated, they will keep down your engine bay temp though, which can be good.
