I've used both over the past 14 years and my truck runs better with the original Denso plugs, wires and rotor. Cap doesn't seem to matter.

Rockauto & sparkplugs.com carry the plugs for very little.

sparkplugs.com sells denso wire sets for less than the ngk.

Better yet, get the denso part # from sparkplugs and search for "denso" plus the part # on amazon - usually cheapest yet and includes free shipping.

I'm sure you'll get other opinions. Mine is that nothing works better than the plain OEM plugs. The stock Denso ignition system is (imho) one of the best engineered parts of these trucks. The engineers must have made an effort to get it right and it shows.

I use a Denso O2 sensor, but I think a number of folks here use NGK (NTK) O2 sensors with good results. I would avoid Bosch, as they are short and don't stick into the exhaust stream enough, and as a result they are slower to react to changes in mixture. That often results in the computer flagging the sensor as "lazy".
