DOH !! T-bar help...
#21
I used a magnetic base angle finder, to insure equal ride, and tape measure for lift. When I used just the tape measure I couldn't get both to ride exact. The angle finder was choice.

plus, I'm not all that picky... if one side's a quarter of an inch off, who cares...

Habor Frieght I hate what they represent but love the prices.

Install the bj spacers... And adjust the t-bars to however you like. It's important you get both sides at the same height before getting it aligned.
after bj spacers, your camber will change and be ... a beyetch to adjust. So you want to get the ride height RIGHT where you want it so they can get your wheels straight up n down.
Adjust, adjust, meeasure, adjust, measure... drive it on the street (not the road) .. cuz its gonna be squirly (toe in/out alignment will be WHACK) .. this gets the springs to settle. measure, adjust repeat
do this till you get the height where you want it.
you can mess with the lower A-arm adjusting bolts and fix your toe (by eye) to get it somewhat aligned then drive it to the shop to get it aligned, then DONT touch it
I've been happy and dissapointed with my bj spacers. Its like sure you get some lift but I've had so many problems with axle binding its almost not worth it.
and you can only drop the diff about an inch, cuz you cant fit anything more than that unless you drill out the mounting holes. then its like, what the hell is the point, you gain ground clearance just to lose it and put your dif down below the crossmember so it can get hit and it will.
my axle is still chilln on the side of my house, i go out once a month and tell it ...soon baby ...... soon

Lots of great points here...well...sorta
..
Drew, Ill basically just do what you say, get it just level, drive it round the block...then make sure its level..Then take it to an alignment shop...
That'll probably be the 27th though...Ill have everything ready before new years in the desert...
