Does my 93 runner have a stock front diff lock?
#21
I did not go on this trip, i had to work on Sunday
(((I ordered online from the US the Richmond locker, should be here in 15 days at the most, can't wait to install it on my front diff and start hitting the mountains.

Finally, i received the Richmond front locker which i ordered online straight from the US, hopefully will have time to install it next week. It was delivered in approx. 15 days and it cost me 300$ + 60$ shipping + 72$ customs, 432 in total, and about 50$ in installation fees.

Below is my Runner, photo taken today at 2500 m of altitude, drove into 30cm of fresh snow and did not stop until i could not see my way anymore due to heavy fog. Even without differential locks these vehicles are awesome.

Well guys, i wanna thank you all for your valuable info that helped me choose the right locker for my ride.
And the locker is installed, but that was not an easy task as i read on the internet, dunno but maybe they were referring to the rear differential, as for the front, i doubt that someone can do it in his backyard alone.
It took an expert with his helper between 5 and 6 hours to complete it, he had to take out the whole differential in order to work with it.
On Sunday i will go test it on snow, lots of snow, we had a really cold storm for 4 days and snow is everywhere.
Would upload some photos. Take care.
