I hear you!

but maybe some slick fenders that match up with the boggers for air-flow reasons....

it's not rice!!! it's pushing technology for efficiency for off-road vehicles.

but i think it would be a waste. my friend has some fenders, they look nice, but i do hardcore wheeling where i beat my body up. he doesnt. and i wouldn't want to smash them all up and look like crap.

I hear ya, norcrawler.
It was half a joke... getting aerodynamics working for mileage on the street, and then remove the body work for off-road capabilities.
I mentioned 'nacelles' that would mount in front of the wheels, actually separate from the body....

If I were to answer your question with another question, it would go something like this: "Does this negligee make me look fat?"

I think it quite adequately illustrates the point I am trying to make. His truck looks ridiculous.

Who cares what the people on the street think. Let them stare, laugh, whatever. It's been said in this thread before, function over form. Those people WHO know, will understand....and those who don't know....well screw em. Just shows you have a sense of humor!!!!

-----my .2 cents

if i did my boggers would rub hard when flexing. it still rubs a tiny bit in the rear when fully flexed. see:

its perfect the way it is. i should be thinking about getting some gears and lockers.
