Do I Buy? 86 4runner with 40s.

Hey guys Im new to the whole internet thing but I have been looking at this site for about a month now and Im lovin it but anyhow I have an 89 4runner completely stock that I will be pouring some cash and time into this summer. I go to school about 1400 kms away from where the truck is and up here a guy is selling an 86 runner with 5.29s a solid front axle and 40s. The thing is hes got 455 000kms on it so I guess about 280 or so miles. The body is in better shape than mine and the 5.29s are almost brand new. What I'm asking is would it be worth swapping in my 22re with significantly lower mileage and keeping mine just for parts. I would lower the 86 by 3 inches just taking out the BL and probably run some 35s and sell those 40s because 40s on a DD is a hell of a lot and I dont know if I could throw a deer in the back of that 86 which sounds small but is important because itll mainly be a hunting/fishing rig. Anyways I dont have a picture of my 89 but its got some rust on the rear quarters as well as a pretty dented up passenger fender. Heres the 86 the guy is asking 2000 canadian but I think I could get it for 1500. So what Im asking is is this worth doing or am I better of with the 89. By the way it wouldnt see too much rock climbing, but it would get alot of mud and Id also need to pull a small ATV trailer. Heres the 86 anyways thanks.

From: Cincinnati, Ohio - Amelia is the exact place. There is no one else on this site from where I am. Seems like everyone is from Cali or Washington. I guess I need to move.
Thats fat as hell man with a SAS under there, I like it. I couldnt really see hauling anything as a specailty but its a cool looking rig, no doubt.

I am guessing that might just be welded on there for some extra radiator protection????? Nevermind, that does look stupid after second glance.

It's a cobbed budget build for sure. Look he hasn't even taken the time to cut the front stock shock mounts off and weld in new ones. Look at his crossover setup jeeeze talk about scary steering. Your gonna spend another $1000 plus to get things right and safe again.
Id offer him $1250 maybe. The 4 runner basically is a mud slut setup way too tall for a actual crawl in the woods.
