dijlops build up.

no, there arent any pictures right now, because im too lazy and would much rather sit inside and type right now. worked 6hrs today, so i deserve a 20minute break and a glass of cold water.

anyways, heres the plan. ordering this stuff off 4crawler.com and planning on putting it all on myself. good summer project. might use it as an excuse to visit a friends house... shes got a nicer yota than me. and a nicer bod, anyways, heres the parts.

the 2wd application:
http://www.4crawler.com/4x4/ForSale/...ntSpacer.shtml

and... im thinkin 3.5 or 4inches over stock, braced:

ive looked at everything and believe i have the basic ideas down, but one concern i have, i keep hearing about grinding the upper control arm for fit. what exactly am i gonna have to do with that?

yes, i will start takin pics very soon and i havent ordered anything quite yet(credit card problems)lol. so ive got plenty of time to take pics. i'll keep ya posted.

for the 2wd spacer, there is no grinding required. just take off the ball joint. set the spacer on top of the ball joint. line up with the holes on the upper arm and put the hardware in. its like a 20 minute job on each side.

if i had my truck id take some pics... its at a place getin dents pulled. lol. next weekend it gets painted. it'll be all pretty again, and taller. cant beat that.

alrighty. everything should be gettin shipped and what not. hopefully get the stuff in this week. cant wait to start. of course now ive got all sorts of new ideas. lol. not sure if i want to go audio after the lift, or get new shocks, or what. decisions decisions. with the spacers and the shackles, are the stock shocks going to be limiting travel? and if so, how badly?
