Fabtech Ivan Dan LT suspension kit

Does anyone have pictures of what this entire kit includes? Or where I can find it online?

Does anyone have experience with this kit?

It's not made anymore

I had one "back in the day" and it was AWESOME. Here's a pic of the truck:

It was SUPER beefy - I swear you needed help to carry the lower control arms! It's been a long time, but as I recall, the kit was VERY complete - control arms, all the steering components (extra super beefy), and everything

Do you remember what shocks they gave you with the kit? Mine was supposed to come with 3-way adjustable shocks but I recieved some cheap Gabriel shocks instead which sucked big time. The suspension is tough as nails but I would not recommend this kit for anyone who lives in the northeast. I think and probably still the only one to have had a lifted 2wd Toyota truck. I even had 4.56 gears with a Precision gear limited slip.

Mine had Rancho RS5000's - single shock setup (which they had to do custom, as everyone else wanted duals or even triples)

Mine rode FANTASTIC. It was AMAZING the bumps it would soak up, seriously, I would be looking for curbs, parking bumpers, etc to run across at speed.

You guys are making me miss my old truck!

Yeah. I drove my truck all over the place. If you are planning for moderate off-road and more on-road driving you can keep the stock torsion bars but if you plan to off road alot then the Sway-A-Way bars are recommended. Actually the truck handled BETTER with the lift than it did stock. With the wider track front, stiffer suspension and the fact that I had BFG mud terrains on it made it handle like a car more than it did a truck.

Im interested as hell. I want long travel and a wider stance. What are you missing from the kit? Would I need new shocks? Im running edelbrocks.

Shocks do not come with it since the original are beat to hell. I can give you specs on the ones that came with it and you can get your own shocks. The shocks you have now will not work. This setup is for dual shocks with eyelets on both ends. You have stud on one end and eyelet on another. The shock mount is welded to the frame along with an upper control arm bump stop. The bump stop can be easily made and the shock mount can be as well.

Yeah it looks really sick. I wish they made something like that for the 4wd. But total chaos does that. hahaha

Ah, I was about to say that it was reasonably priced. But that's worth nothing to me...

Dont plan on using those lift spindles for any heavy off road use.

IMHO if you really want to beat the truck off road in 2WD... start with a 4WD, remoe the front axle (spindle is way beefy) and then look at the Total Chaos "race" setup...
