Differential Slip and noise?

Hey guys, been chasing down this vibration for some time now. Vibration gets very noisy, perhaps uncomfortable is a better term, at about 55. Put the rig up on stands yesterday and ran it up to about 60, vibration is still there. When I crawled under I spun the tires by hand and noticed a bit of a slip and noise as it appears that the diff gearing is not making absolute clean connection to the drive shaft gears. I can hold the drive shaft and spin the tires and can feel a notchy feeling in the shaft as I do it.

I did not have someone hold the other tire when rotating and knowing this is an open diff should have done it at the time.

My question, does this sound right to you folks? Oh, to "correct" the vibration to this point I have replaced the u joints front and rear, replaced one set of wheel bearings, replaced the tires, balanced of course, put a set of locking hubs on, and replaced one of the front drive shafts. It seems to me that I am down to one of two things the trans or the diff.
