So real quick, is there any way to check the computer for the codes without having to have someone plug into it??

I was told I can jump two wires on the plug, but I don't know which ones.

Throttle valve fully closed (tps points closed)
In neutral
Accesories off
engine warm
2. turn on key but dont start
3. Short terminals T-E of the check engine connector located near the ignition coil
4. read codes of check engine lite
